Located in the idyllic historical town of Bath, Maine across from the fountain of "The Spirit of the Sea", at Kismet Inn and Spa, a Bed and Breakfast Inn and Wellness Spa, you will discover a small destination spot of extraordinary beauty. Exquisitely decorated with fine antiques, elegant Persian carpets, warm wood floors, centuries old, embroidered textiles from world over and fine arts.
Our Bathing and Body Scrub Ritual
We offer our Inn guests, and day guests, an old world Bathing Ritual followed by Body Scrubbing -- Kiseh Keshee or exfoliation. Kiseh Keshee (exfoliation) is a ritual performed all over the continent of Asia, from Japan and China in the Far East to Turkey in the West. It is best to first soak in our deep hydrotherapy tub, or if you choose to stay in the steam shower rooms, you will steam your body. Our massage therapists will then scrub your body, including the face, neck, legs, back, and arms with a special cloth and exfoliate, following by pumice and special attention to the feet. As final part of this signature Bathing Ritual you will be served fine brewed tea, pastries and jam.
Our Massage and Yoga Services
Our skilled therapists also offer a variety of massage services, offered in the privacy of your guest room, including hot stone, Thai, Swedish, Reiki, and Deep Tissue. We also offer traditional threading services for removal of facial and body hair. Whether at the early or advanced stages of yoga, you can practice and study here at Kismet Inn with a professional yoga trainer in a spacious room dedicated solely to yoga. The room has a large, south-facing bay window with a view of a magnificent, 150-year old copper beech tree. Additional windows face east and west. The wooden floor will have radiant heat during the cold months and guests will be provided with individual yoga mats made with pure natural rubber.

Our signature amenity -- custom tiled deep soaking tubs in the old world Roman and Japanese style, surrounded by radiant heat floor; steam showers; bathrooms with radiant heat; natural bedding, old world body and foot scrubs with organic exfoliants; massage; daily yoga on radiant heat floor with natural yoga mats made of rubber (containing no PVC), private yoga and meditation lessons; Thai yoga bodywork; organic food and homemade breads, jams, yogurt, dressings and pickles; traditional Samovar tea; fine homemade European and Middle Eastern pastries; library for book lovers; cooking conferences; knitting and quilting classes; photography seminars; special occasions such as family gatherings or small wedding receptions.

KITTERY
The Inn
Portsmouth Harbor Inn & Spa is unique – a 5-bedroom B&B with attached day spa offering premium-quality massages, facials, manicures and pedicures, body wraps and other services. The Inn has wi-fi, phones with dataports, rooms with desks, free off-street parking in our own lot adjacent to and visible from our building, and upon appropriate notice and as an alternative to our gourmet breakfast offers an early breakfast - continental or hearty (B&E, toast, juice, coffee or tea, etc.). We are easily accessible from the main highway, and a 10-minute walk into the heart of Portsmouth , NH , although we are in a quiet residential neighborhood.
The Spa
The Spa at the Inn offers a full menu of day spa packages, and individual services include facials, body wraps, massage, hand and foot treatments, manicures and pedicures, waxing, lash and brow tinting, hydrotherapy tub, and more. Day Guests are welcome.
